The Rain Sings, Dances, and Paints. Since 2018~
:Installation, the danced trace of raindrops over 30 days, porcelain, cast, reduction at 1280°C.*
A significant part of my inspiration comes from nature. I am fascinated by how nature highlights its own beauty and essence. My artworks aim to capture not only the expression of nature but also the movement and atmosphere of each moment and state within it. In this way, the material itself becomes part of the creation process.
It is too quiet, too still. Outside, it rains. No one else is there—only me and the rain. The rain invites me to perform, to sing, to dance, to paint. In these moments, I am deeply attentive and notice the extraordinary: the movement of the rain. The rain has the ability to harmonize me with my surroundings. It helps me release tension in my body and reconnect with my rhythm of life. In this work, the rain, colored with ceramic glaze powder, leaves traces of its natural dance on the ceramic.
